I taught _Always Running_ in a 200 level course organized around the idea 
of oppression and power. As a comparative piece, we also read the other 
Rodriguez (Richard)'s _Hunger of Memory_.  The students seemed to enjoy 
the pairing; one immediate, direct, and representative of the street, the 
other nuanced and academic.  Luis is a wonderful reader if you get a 
chance to attend any of his readings...
