I don't Denise Chavez's _The Last of the Menu Girls_ is such a good book.
 Interesting structure but there is a certain depth missing.  My students
didn't find that moving.  

A question for all or any:  why are you mixing Chicano with Latino?  There
are differences.  One is a part of the other.  Chicanos are only one group of
Latinos who live in this country.  As a Latina who is not a Chicana I kind of
get tired of all that lumping.  Think about it.
