I'd like to thank all those who have responded to my inquiry about PC and
the "Second World." You have stimulated my further thinking on this issue
and helped to organize it. It is a session time now in my university and
I have to correct a few finals. So it'll take 4-5 days for me to reply
in a more or less productive way. I will structure my reply around the
three topics raised by Terry Goldie, Atefeh Aliai, and Irem Balkir and
mail them separately:

1. Is there anything theoretically interesting in the ideologeme of the
"Three Worlds?"

2. What kind of relation(s) if any may exist between PC and the
theoretical heritage of the Third International?

3. A discussion of the lines of investigation admiringly oulined by Irem
Balkir, with a list of some specific phenomena in the FSU for further
discussion. Until then.

Grateful,

Vladimir Bilenkin
