Dear Raka Shome: (marcus porcius Cato?)

Well yes there is way to shut me up -- its called CENSORSHIP.

"the spirit of scholarly inquiry" ha!

I recently submitted to this list a long review of Rushdie and two film
reviews -- it was part of nice almost-erudite debate...

Just because I said a few near-nasty things does not mean you have to vote
me out of class does it? CENSORSHIP.

Think about it scholar. CENSORSHIP.

You want postcolonialism to be as nice as bird-watching studies?

There is a bit of pain in colonialism n'est-pas?

You don't want to take a look at that? CENSORSHIP
You just want all the nice things about colonialism? CENSORSHIP

Nothing could be more "immature" than CENSORSHIP.

If you don't want to deal with my remarks then I suggest you just delete my
comments BEFORE reading them.

Also, why don't YOU leave the list if all this troubles you?

I am staying. Why should I leave? I already have made a substantive
contribution to this list -- remind me of what you've done?

Respectfully,

Julian
