Call for papers

A special issue of _New Literatures Review_ - to appear in mid-1997 -
will be devoted to the child in post-colonial literatures. The theme
encompasses both writing for children and about children.  Articles to
be considered for this issue should be 3,000 to 5,000 words long,
typed, double-spaced and conform to MLA style.  Notes should be kept
to a minimum, with references and commentary included in the text. Two
hard copies of each contribution should be sent, and where possible a
copy on Macintosh-compatible diskette. 
 The deadline for contributions is 31 October, 1996.
