In response to Victoria Taylor's request: it doesn't deal with US
immigration, but John Berger's THE SEVENTH MAN might be of interest, since he
collaborated on it with a photographer (whose name I forget). It is an
attempt to capture, in words and images meant to work together, the situation
of emigrant laborers in Western Europe.
