Thanks to everyone for advice and suggestions about Women Indian Writers. 
I am overwhelmed - I have obviously tapped a rich vein.

I am also interested in the cross over between postmodern and postcolonial
outlooks.  I am specifically interested in Joyce's influence on Salman
Rushdie.  This project  is also in its infancy so if anyone can help me run
with this ball it would be much appreciated.
