Another suggestion:
What is Post-colonial discourse?
- There is no the Post-colonial discourse or theory, but discourses and
theories that do not form one body of knoweldge. Post-colonial would then
be a tendency to go beyond certain mastery and authority without simply
renouncing the colonial universe and its structures.

Another question - it is a job application time and, as you may know,
there are quite a few jobs for those specializing in Post-colonial theory
and/or literature. Now, what do they mean by post-colonial? Do they want
to say, as one job add did: "diversity candidates are especially
encouraged to apply"? 
By this I mean to call your attention to at list one way in which the
post-colonial becomes.
