Excellent suggestions there: a small note; the name of Kureishi's book is
"The Buddha of Suburbia" (not Suburbs). His next novel, The Black Album,
deals with migrant south Asian Muslims in Britain at the time of the fatwa
controversy -- but it is not as good as the former.
