Subject: poco reading list


Dear Alpana: I have been teaching grad courses in poco for seven years now
and think your idea of doing a contested list sounds great. A question--why
use Chrissman's etc. collection--does that seem representative. I think its a
little U.K and perhaps U.S. centered. Why not do a packet. I am currently
teaching a course on poco theory and I'll happily send you my syllabus. Its
long and covers a lot including poco intersections with theories of
ethnicity, cultural studies etc. sangeeta
