Subject: Re: language use in poco fiction/poco readings

Hello. Following up on Alpana's latest post on wanting to incorporate
issues of language use and translation in her course on postcolonial
fiction: I am going to teach a course on "minor literature" from around
the world (including gloria anzaldua, assia djebar, audre lorde, emine
sevgi ozdamar et al.) and need to expand my reading list. Any suggestions
on novels and short stories that stress linguistic difference and the
incorporation of other languages?
Thanks in advance.
