I'm interested in reading Mahasweta Devi/Mahasveta Debi's work but am
findin it difficult because I don't know Bengali. I have come across
english translations of her stories by Spivak and in the book "Women,
Peasants, Outcastes and Rebels," but none beyond that. Im particularly
interested in reading her longer work- which am only aware of because of
the libraries online catalog system. So, what else has she written (Ive
read the stories: Douloti the Bountiful, Pterodactyl, ...?..Pirtha..?..,
Draupadi, Dhowli, the Funeral Wailer, The Witch-Hunt, and Strange Children)
and what is available in english?
