Regarding the comments from Helena and Benjamin on ryans's problematicness.  There is a pre-colonial Eire that unfortunately lots of Irish people don't know about, me being one of them.  Iam only starting to find this out since the class I sat in on Wilson Harris started me thinking about postcolonial theory and whether it would be relevant to Ireland.< I found some Irish poems/incantations dating B.C.> I think from viewing this list it looks like it is. I come from an irish in england point of view.
