I believe Mr. Samuel's bit of info is meant more to inflame or annoy. He sent
the same message to the cultural studies list where it was promptly ignored.
Methinks we should do the same since i don't see what constructive can come of
such a debate especially when the other party has such an a priori axe to
grind. Something really penile and oedipal about samuel's list personna,
especially regarding lit/cult studies...
