seems i have to delurk again, and while thanking those who so helpfully replied, apologize profusely for forgetting my email is permanently set to 'return receipt  (due to my own failure to comprehend the instructions).  I am beginning to have an idea of just how *large* this list is, as the return receipts come pouring in: I hope it hasn't caused anyone else any inconvenience.
