Dear Rajinder:

I have some ideas we might discuss about your proposed project on a journal on
popular Indian film and diasporic mass media. Please send me your e-mail, so we
we might exchange mail. Thanks.

Dear Postcolonial list,

A colleague and I at Birmingham have been invited to put
together a proposal to edit a journal on popular Indian film and
related South Asian diasporic mass media for Routledge publishers.

I was thinking of the possibility of having a joint key editorial
between India, the States and Britain. It's all early days yet but I
want to explore all possible routes for making this journal happen.
Do you have anyone in mind we can contact in India and/or the states
or elsewhere to be part of the main editorial team, and also the
editorial advisory board? Do you have a research interest in this
area?

I look forward to hearing from you,
Rajinder.
