Shazia's and Maureen's suggestion to simply post the essay up on the list
certainly would be the most practical route. But as I've said to a few of
those who reqested copies, I'm feeling a little guilty about Scrutiny2's
position here. It may be splitting hairs, but I can just about justify to
myself copying the essay to individuals who can't get the journal, as
opposed to posting it up in a public forum; a domain which I feel should
formally remain S2s. Plus the fact lots of people who had absolutely no
interest in the third space strand would have to download an extremely large
text file (about 6,500 words) unsolicited.

Incidentally, I'm overwhelmed by the reaction. I certainly had no idea so
many peple would be interested. However, I should apologise to poco list for
the request postings. If anyone else would like a copy, perhaps you could
e-mail me directly to save clogging the list up, although its probably a
little late to say that now.

Thanks to Marlene Atleo's for her detailed comments. I'm having a think
about your criticisms and will post something soon.

Thanks again for all the interest.
