Hosted by the geography department at San Diego State University, this site provides bibliographies, abstracts, and helpful links for researchers, educators and film buffs. If your planning on doing research on a film or television show, or are interested in reel-to-real social and spatial relations this site is a must see. Our film resources page can connect you to the major Hollywood studios, film commissions throughout the World, movie lists and reviews, and even a page which can tell you what's playing at your local cinema. Our recent webpage update includes abstracts from the 1998 Association of American Geographers annual meeting. Also featured are two organized sessions sponsored by the urban geography specialty group entitled, "Critical Geographies of Mass Media" which will be presented at the upcoming 1999 AAG meeting in Hawaii. We encourage you to submit abstracts from conferences or publication lists not represented in our bibliography.
