Well said.  Messages such as this should be forwarded (if you are an American
citizen), to your congressional representative (if you do not know who it is you
can find it on any search engine by keying in House of Representatives of the
United States) and Senators
(once again key in Senate of the United States).  The message can also be cc'd to
the White House at president-AT-whitehouse.gov, the Secretary of State at
secretary-AT-state.gov, and a vast number of national newspapers virtually all of
whom have e-mail addresses for letters to the editors.
