Subject: Migration to Mexico

I am currently doing some research for my master's thesis for
gerontology, and am interested in a current migratory trend of
"retirement" age singles and couples to locations in Mexico. I have
two questions:

1. Since the research available shows that when large numbers of
english speaking retirees move into any location in Mexico, they tend
not to learn the language, and to set up volunteer and support
systems similar to those in the US, is this colenization?

2. The research I am referring to was reported by Lorena Melton Young
Otero, a professor and member of the Insittuto de Ciencias Sociales y
Humanidades at the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebela. Does
anyone know how to contact her?

3. Does anyone have any suggestions, information, or comments
regarding this subject?

Thank you in advance for your help.
