A good recent introduction to poco theory is Leela Ghandi's *Postcolonial
Theory: A Critical Introduction* NY: Colombia Univ. Press, 1998. The author
describes the genesis of the field and its intersections with various
schools of thought such as Marxism, poststructuralism, feminism. You'll
also find useful analyses of the contributions of the critics you named.
