I agree that it was a rather stupid joke, but at the same time I thought it
was supposed to be at IBM's expense.  Are we all supposed to be a part of
such a "high-tech" world?  Despite the ideals of IBM and others, not
everyone has a need or interest to live with technology.  Should we then
try to impose this technology on those that are content to live without it?
 While technology may help all of those in "industrialized" states become
richer, it takes its toll on many parts of the world.  Can the joke be
