Hey Joe!

While I haven't read Wicombe's work so can't directly compare it, I would
highly recommend teaching Farah's Maps.  However, I have a feeling that's
out of print in the U.S. as well. It is an amazing work that does great
stuff w/gender, youth, identity formation et al and also discusses Eritrea
and Ethiopia pasts that are relevant to the current political situation. I'm
going to teach it if at all possible next spring.
