Great review in Village Voice years ago. I am sure, you already have these on your list, but still: 1. Knowing Her Place (Indu Krishnan, I think from Women Make Movies) 2. When Mother Comes Home for Christmas (Nilita Vachani -- excellent for issues regarding migrant labor) 3. Miss India Georgia (I'd like to know whatyou think about this film) 4. Deepa Mehta's earlier film "Sam and I" (too cutesy though, AND Canadian) 5. "Refugee Policy and Gender Persecution" -- GREAT, but again, Canadian. By NFBC or CBC -s- Sanjukta T.
