Terry, I've always thought that Rorty accepted Derrida as a "real"
philosopher, and I also think that the problem is one of definition. Some
friends in philosophy tell me that Anglo-American analytic philosophy
dominates the anglo-American world (some surprise), making the discipline
less than welcoming to continental philosophers. But what about Emmanuel
Levinas, for instance? And how do "real" philosophers evaluate the Frankfurt
School (I'm thinking of Adorno, but assuming that Habermas is accepted)?
