Hi, everyone. I'm a grad student at the University of the West Indies who
is interested in doing research on a little-known Jamaican intellectual of
the late 19th century early 2othC - named Theophilus Scholes. Scholes is
important to me for many reasons, one of which is the ways in which he
prefigures much of modern postcolonial discourse via his sustained,
critical assault on colonialism and racism.

His period is approximately 1856/7 - 1937, and I would appreciate any
information on Scholes... secondary sources, etc.

Thanks in advance.
