Individual critical papers and pre-organized panels are invited on topics
pertaining to...
Literature,
Arts
Histories
Politics
Or any aspect of the British Commonwealth of nations, and of countries formerly
colonized by other European powers.

We specifically invite proposals in the following areas:
 *  pedagogy and postcolonialism
* liberation and resistance theories
* the theory and practice debate
* colonial discourse and cultural hybridity
* challenging internal colonialisms
* globalization, transculturation and neocolonialism
* postcolonialism and the disciplines
* feminism and gender analysis
* transnational capital and postcolonialism 
* bioethics, ecology, and decolonization
* film and the performing arts in a decolonized culture
1Papers should be designed for twenty minute delivery, and panels
for ninety minutes.

All submissions (abstracts, papers, panel proposals) should be accompanied by a
cover letter listing name, academic affiliation, mailing address and telephone
numbers, titles of papers, panel proposals, and national origin(s) and genre of
work(s), text(s) discussed.
