The word Kama literally means work, in this case, chef's work!

Subject: Kama?

Hello List members - Please ignore that previous email. I accidentally
posted it on this list. Sorry

[In case you are wondering, KAMA is popular Indian Restaurant in downtown
Toronto, Ont. Canada. The food is surprisingly good, so I would recommend
it if you are in town. Incidentally, I am wondering if this name been
appropriated
from "KAMA sutra" - the art of Indian tantric sex. Is this yet another
example of exotification of "the other" or does Kama actually have another
significant meaning? Anyone know the literal meaning of KAMA? ]

Cheers
Nav
