Subject: Re: Poco Time

Isn't this getting a little vague ? I mean different
communities/nationalities have different ideas of
conceptualising and concretising time, related to
things as various as seasonal cycles and writing or
other forms of memory technologies. As someone trying
to put together a historiography text in a very poco
location, the whole bit about poco time seems
questionable, as does indigenous time. There is
notrhing "standard" about either of these ideas, let
me assure us all. apart from which, is there anyone
out there who would be willing to look at the ideas of
time and their narrativisation in various Islamic
cultures ? Look forward to hearing from you, then.
Thanks. Ipshita
