Disrupting Preconceptions: Postcolonialism and Education Conference Brisbane, 17 - 19th August 2001 School of Education, The University of Queensland This interdisciplinary conference aims to initiate debate and discussion about the broad significance of postcolonial thinking for national and international education practice and policy. It seeks to bring together researchers, academics, postgraduate students and teacher educators for a dialogue about how we might harness and use the insights of postcolonialism for teaching and learning, for curriculum, and for research.
