Hey I don't know, but I think that this whole attempt to say how things should be on the Balkans is pretty arrogant on the side of "we" Americans. It amazes me how Liberals and Leftist alike can hear one day on the radio how The UN said there was genocide in Guatemala during its last civil war, which was of course created and funded by the USA. Some 300,000 thousand Indians people were killed, while at the same time the USA, it is celebrated as the leader in Human Rights. During the time of Pelo war in Greece both Athens and Sparta were engaged in creating and repressing revolutions, in order to ensure that the colonized states of the ancient Greek world were exploited and engaged in the war effort on the correct side (Athenian or Spartan). The Western governments are doing the same thing as Sparta and Athens; if they think they can get a former east block country, or any other non-western state under their control they will support some fraction the people with money and weapons so that they will attempt to create a revolution, witch will bring that state under Western control and free market exploitation. Now on the other hand if that state is like Columbia, the insurgents will be termed Terrorists and drug dealers instead of freedom fighters like the KLA. And the civil wars which are created by the west to as NATO countries in their fight to gain control of the entire world's resources, turning Asia, Africa, South America and Eastern Europe into areas of exploitation, half the worlds population will be damned to a live in extreme poverty and all the violence an barbarism that come with civil war. With that said I would say that I see Milosevic as one player in much bigger game played out on the world stage. Marget Thatcher always advocated the break up of Yugoslavia during the Eighties, and not the unification of nothern Ireland for the simple reason that Nothern Ireland was under the control of the English military while Yugoslavia was not. What this MilosevicTrial is about, is to further portray the NATO countries and "champions of the free world", while diverting attention away from its own activities else where. Milosevic trial is not every different than what happened with Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega. Well and when I tell people this, I am always accused of forwarding some kind of conspiracy theory. I'm like what, just because the western media is not much more than a propaganda apparatus serving to justified the cruelty of its foreign policy, And because I don't want to believe in the lies my media and government are telling me, I am some how a believing in "conspiracy theory." Does not the media tell it own "conspiracy". But hey what can you do, this appears to be the order of the day. I just can help but feel that so many of us are terribly deceived with regards to our true political situation. Bourgeois 'democracy' is only another name for capitalism, and so is Fascism; to fight against Fascism on behalf of 'democracy' is to fight on the behalf of a second which is liable to turn into the first at any moment.
