Sophisticated enough? Of course, aala hazrat. the point i was trying to make was that maybe "we" should look at something that can be called "the will to sophistication" and try to look at sophistication as an instrument of (dis)enfrenchising some forms of knowledge production -- sophistication as a technique of exclusion and inclusion. why is it that discourses of hybridity claim "complexity" for themselves while and declaring non-hybrid or manichean discourses as binary and therefore, ipso facto, not-so-complex? can one see some ideology/discourse of sophistication at work here? monopolising sophistication for hybridity seems like a epistemic legerdemain, no? mirza sahib, will it be possible somehow to get some of your papers that were published in the journal of philosophy (is it titled illumination?) published at government college? saeed urrehman --- from list postcolonial-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
