Subject: Recent African Women's literature and Migration

Greetings Fellow Poco-ers:
I'm trying to round out my African lit course with a novel by a woman writer
which deals with the contemporary dissolution of African states and
subsequent migration to Europe (or the USA)...Any suggestions?...

Have folks had success teaching Amma Darko's "Beyond the Horizon" or Calixthe
Beyala's Paris novels?
