Subject: a link

some time ago, i participated in the discussion on whether international
intervention is a form of colonialism or not. my view was that when it
comes to human rights, though one can definitely historicise them and prove
them eurocentric, it is difficult to condone their violations whether
committed by the west or the non-west.

in order to further substantiate my point, i urge you to have a look at
the official website of revolutionary association of women of afghanistan.

http://www.afghan.rawa.org/rawa/index.html

the photo galleries and the movies, made by women who were hiding
camcorders in their burqas, on this website are not for the faint-hearted.
