Subject: a question


list members,

Has anyone read about black Americans responses to the attacks and to
anti-Arab, anti-Islam, anti- Muslim violence and rhetoric?  Among other
things I keep returning to the characterization of Arab peoples as "sand
niggers" and the rhetoric of civilized versus uncivilized.

I heard part of Rev Calvin Butts' speech in which he invoked the flag and
unity but I can't seem to locate much else.  Specifically I am looking for
oppositional responses.  I read the post from Ali.  I haven't gotten
anything from the Black Radical congress since they issued a statement on
the 13th or so.
