Well, I'm going to try to reserve judgment about who's responsible for the
attacks, keeping in mind the anti-Arab and anti-Muslim sentiment expressed in
the immediate aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing--which turned out to be the
work of some home-grown fanatics.

Unfortunately, I agree with you, Omar, about what will happen if the crashes do
turn out to be affiliated with a Palestinian group, or with Osama bin Laden. 
Recent history shows that the U.S. government believes in reprisal as a
legitimate aim of foreign policy, and I'm sure that's even more the case with
the current "leadership."
