Can anybody share with me the names of different US-based charities that
have sprung up in response to the 9/11 events?
I’m looking into what alternatives are out there beyond the Red Cross and
the Sept. 11th fund, but mostly 1) why there was a need for alternatives,
and 2) what the focus of these other charities is that the two major
channels are apparently not addressing.
I am basically guided by the question of whether the 2 most highlighted
charities are discriminating against and/or ignoring the working-class
and/or undocumented victims’ families…
