Dear listmembers,

I'm sorry, I swore I would never do this to you all, but I need help identifying/finding a moment in Midnight's Children.

At one point, Saleem Sinair refers to:

"the explosion of the Walkeshwar Reservoir, which unleashed the great cat invasion" (238 in my edition)

In which chapter does this explosion and invasion take place? I've been through the novel three times with no success - please save me from having to reread the entire thing just to find out where this happens.
