at issue with me is not whether or not the guy is a
racist. at issue is the arrogance being shown by
academia.

what makes a person an academic? writing books?
writing essays? being a professor in that grandiose
place known as academia?

a person's worth intellectual worth should not be
measured by how many books they write that will sit on
the shelves in the hallowed halls of academia
collecting dust. it should be measured by the content
(again, his stance on race is not what i'm getting
at). is it better to write 'originials' as you call
them (i take you to mean books, etc) rather than
'supplements' (newspapers)? again i find this
preference for books over newspapers rather arrogant.
it is the content that is important not whether or not
it is in a bound volume or newsprint. at least in
newsprint people will read it. how many people read
books in this world as compared to newspapers? if you
want to get an idea to the masses getting it in the
newspaper will do it a lot faster than any book ever
will.
