Maureen and Priya,

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I have been moving!

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I definitely have something to start with
here.

Anjali

dear anjali, these i am aware of and have taught from:

_nine indian women poets: an anthology_, ed. eunice de souza

_Hoops of Fire: Fifty Years of Fiction by Pakistani Women_, hussein et al,
eds

_Blood into Ink : South Asian and Middle Eastern Women Write War_, cooke et
al, eds

_in their own voice: the penguin anthology of contemporary indian women
poets_, ed. arlene zide

_we sinful women: contemporary urdu feminist poetry_, ed. ahmad

there is also an italian publication with works in both italian and english,

but i am not sure it's available and all the poets in that collection are
probably represented in the ones listed here anyway.

cheers,
maureen fadem.
