The commerical produce of the region is coffee, ivory, hides, etc. This is a highland region but it is not infertile. The climate is cool but not unhealthy. All European

merchandise is imported, by camel. There is a lot to be done in the region.

 You shouldn't think that this region is entirely uncivilized, We have

the army, artillery and calvary [Egyptian], and their administration. It's all

exactly the same as in Europe, excep that they're a pack of dogs and bandits. (...)

The only major trade is the pelts of animals that are milked while they are alive

then flayed. Then there's coffee, ivory and gold; scents, incense, musk, etc.

Unfortunately, we're 240 miles from the sea and transport is too expensive.
