Subject: 200 Haitians had the guts

Dear Postcolonial members,

I am taken away by the story of the 200 Haitians who are being detained in 
Florida.  I would like to see how this story develops.  People, two hundred, 
fled and put their lives in jeopardy when they went on that boat.  Everyone 
should try and put themselves in their shoes and first notice if they would 
have reacted the same way.  In the name of humanity something positive must 
derive from this situation!
