Subject: Re: NYT Op-Ed Salman Rushdie 271102


If we're talking about the op ed in which Rushdie talked about Muslims
needing to see why their religion bred violence I think the piece was
pretty irresponsible. One of my students pointed out to me that in his list
of things that matter in the world, bacon sandwiches was the most
culturally insensitive
