so why are people like chomsky, said, parenti, etc.
rarely if ever seen in the mainstream media yet they
are constantly attacking the US regimes. why is there
nearly zero attacks made against israel in the media
concerning it's annihilation in palestine yet everyday
no matter how small the event, palestinians are are
indicted?

to think the powers that be are not in bed with those
who produce the media is in my mind being rather
naive.

as far as protesting goes there was the not in our
name protest held nationwide to protest the coming
bush war on iraq. has it done any good? no. bush and
his cronnies are still laying out plans to invade
iraq, with or without UN approval, iwth or without
other nations support.

i enjoy a good protest as much as the next person but
i have to ask myself if it's going to do any good when
progress toward war continues as though the protests
never happened.

plus you have to aks yourself if the people had info
from the likes of chomsky, et al, would they still be
as supportive of the war effort. you cannot deny the
misinformation presented daily in the news. war sells
newspapers. how many bought newspapers on 911 and the
days after vs now?
