Doesn't the moderator or owner of the list have the authority to simply eject 
folks who are being peculiar? In my listserv experience--the various Marxists 
lists, for example, moderators have often had to remove people who were 
simply being a nuisance and there was never any objection from the rest of the list 
community. Just a thought...
