Please note that the deadline for the Spring 2004 issue articles has been
extended to January 15, 2004.

                                      Call For Papers

INTERACTIONS is an internationally refereed journal indexed by MLA and 
published
biannually by the Departments of English Language and Literature and 
American
Culture and Literature of Ege University, Izmir/ TURKEY

We welcome essays on British and American cultures and literatures, book and
film reviews. We are pleased to announce that our deadlines are July 1 for 
the
fall issue articles and December 1 for spring issue articles.

Please submit one printed copy of your manuscript together with an IBM 
formatted 3.1/2 floppy
diskette to the address below. Manuscripts should be between 5000 and 7000
words, double-spaced throughout, including text, extracts, quotations, 
endnotes,
and a complete list of works cited.

Submissions are accepted on the understanding that they have not previously 
been published and that they are not under consideration for publication 
elsewhere.

For detailed guidelines on the preparation of manuscripts, authors should
consult the MLA Style Manual (Parenthetical Citation) (2000-2003).

The editors will make first evaluation of the articles and only the articles 
which conform to the above qualifications, will be sent to referees.

A small amount around 5 euros should be deposited for the publishing 
expenses after the articles are accepted.
