Dear list members,

I am a doctoral student at Karlstad University, Sweden, writing on the
relation and problematics of memory/history, past and present in works of
David Dabydeen, Toni Morrison and Abdulrazak Gurnah. I have been given a
grant by the Fulbright commission to pursue my work in the US as a visiting 
researcher
from next autumn, but have not yet decided where to spend the time. Ideas and
references are therefore most welcome. Write me off-list if you are at
all interested and I can tell you more about my work (I know it's in some
respects a well-trodden area).
