Subject: A Query

Dear List:

Does anyone know any British Asian poets (of S. Asian descent) that I could
teach in a Postcolonial Brit Lit Course I am planing for spring? While there
are so many novelists that write about the British experience (Rushdie,
Naipaul,
Kureishi, Syal, and now Monica Ali) I can't think of any poets.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Best,
Nalin Jayasena
