Hello All,

I can't think of a time when postcolonial studies has been more
important than it is right now. I'm not wedded to the name--its
pitfalls have been discussed to death--but can't think of a better one
either. I think we should renew our discussion, and since Amardeep has
offered to host a new email list perhaps that's the right forum for
now. I guess I'm open to webblogs as well, although they seem much more
public than email lists. That may not be a bad thing, though: perhaps
there's a place for both.
