The trick to a successful home page is advertising it. No one will know it's there unless you get the word out. That means linking and cross-linking with other pages (topically related or not), signing every note and post and e-mail with your web page address, and putting the address on business cards. (Although make sure your address is permanent. I created Prodigy's Puppetry web page, ordered a gazillion business cards, and *then* Prodigy changed their file system to a new address. Old business cards make lovely coasters.... ) One more step I forgot - register your page on every conceivable search tool - Alta Vista, Yahoo, Submit-it, etc. Kerry Kerry's Place http://pages.prodigy.com/robin/kerry.htm --- Personal replies to: STNW54F-AT-prodigy.com (CRYSTAL BLUE PUPPETS) --- List replies to: puptcrit-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- Admin commands to: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu
